chess.com is dead to me....

I really like Lichess. This platform is great to me. Never had an issue. With that being said...number 1 is still, Freechess.org. Hands down!

Regarding you opinion, I cannot see any logical justification behind it. If you truly love the website, it is your right to love it and hold your opinion. But without futher empirical data or logical elaborations, I don't agree with you.

I'm sure that people heard of FICS.

free chess.org has graphics of 1990s! lichess much modern.

Guys, I think OP is talking about Lichess only. Li in lichess means libre which translates to free, so it's free chess. They just wrote it in website form!

Lichess has a lot of nice features, but I think on the whole, the best Chess site is Cool Math Games because it also has a lot of other games that are more fun than chess.
