After updating to Safari 18.0, I cannot load any
lichess.org web page. After repeated tries, Safari gives the following message:
A problem repeatedly occurred with "
lichess.org"
hitting the "Reload Webpage" button just reaches the same error message.
Alas, deleting Safari history only worked for a day and the problem returned.
I solved it by cleaning history on safari menu, then it worked properly...
I had the same issue.
Seems linked to Notifications.
Try to remove Lichess from Safari's Notifications settings.
Ok Confirmed in my case.
Il i click on the Bell icon on the top right, Lichess asks for allowing Notifications.
If i click "Authorize", it crashes the webpage.
Then it's impossible to display the page, it always show the A problem repeatedly occurred with "
lichess.org" message.
Wouldn't you know I can't reproduce this with safari 18's notification authorization. If someone could get me a
lichess.org/#debug report that may help.
