It seems every time I play a game and I'm winning, I end up against some brain dead animal that doesn't know how to resign and will drag a game on 30 more moves than necessary down a piece. I can only assume their resign button must be malfunctioning.
This is likely due to them bming you on purpose. I've had multiple games where this has happened and the opponent is so mad about his blunder(positionally or tactically) that they intentionally waste your time. Pay no heed to them.
@OwenG I'm 99% sure this was just a sarcastic jab at people who do this. The more annoying practice I find are the people who offer a rematch, and then just let the time run out before making a move.
