It was late night and i wanted to play chess but i didn't bother to log in, i played exactly 100 rapid games with this random person and it felt like at that moment of the day, we were friends but alas all good things come to an end and the other person went offline, everytime i think of the person theres a sad feeling that arises in me,Due to this i humbly request you to give an option where anonymous people could chat

If anonymous people were permitted to chat, the possibility for abuse would be tremendous.
Just think about the stuff that happens in the forums, even when people can be held to account for their words and actions. Making it possible for people to chat anonymously will just invite the worst verbal abusers to engage in the worst verbal abuse.
The situation as is, is fine. If you want to chat during a game, go through the laborious process of logging in.
Anonymous people CAN chat IF it's a friend challenge (made from the "Play with a friend" button)
So you can chat with your friends that way, with no need for an account.
