Announced Lichess Tutor Feature

Hello everyone!

I wanted to ask about the feature of Lichess Tutor, that was announced already in August 2022 in this blog post: lichess.org/blog/YulPhhAAACAAvm1f/lichess-half-year-update--new-feature-sneak-preview

Will it ever be released, and when, @thibault?

In that post lichess said it was in its development stage and lichess tutor is a very big thing so it will take some time.

@SamanyayGhosh is right, it's still a work-in-progress and we have no release date in mind for the moment.

lichess has code that suppresses all thibault pings. the related commit is "stop pinging me": github.com/lichess-org/lila/commit/0e8224529c1230e07ccbcb7175bfdeff36e890df

the reason this code was necessary is people like yourself.

Actually, nowadays everybody can turn off forum pings in the settings. But yeah, even before that, Thibault couldn't be pinged.

i am aware, i have pings turned off myself. but the thibault-specific code is still in there as far as i can see.
