Analysis for computer games

I play a lot of computer games and it would be very nice to have an analysis window while playing. Something that just shows the cpl would be fine. Doesn't have to be extremely accurate and it would be nice if it could be hidden.

Why this would be useful.

1. I don't always want to stop a game in the middle to figure out how well I'm doing. Some games look like I could get a draw(and since the computer doesn't do draw's it's nice to have an idea) but want to keep playing. If I screw up later it causes the final analysis to be off because it will have the bad moves in it that I would not have made if I drew the game.

2. The final analysis can be slow. Seems like one could get an almost free analysis while playing since there is some down time thinking and waiting for the comp.

3. The analyze button does not let one do a computer analysis ;/ If it did then this could probably satisfy my needs.

if, what i understand you saying, is that you want to be able to have computer help while playing against another player?

I think by "computer games" he means that he's playing against engines and wants an evaluation gauge to tell him how he's doing at any given moment. My Shredder app has this feature.

iloveblitz: Yes. What is the Shredder App? I wonder if a script could be created to add this feature? Is there any on line analyzers that could be hijacked to do this?
