Additional Timer for each Move

At the beginning of the game my opponent decided, not to continue anymore: lichess.org/Hv9M0SdNjZ1S
That way I need to way until his/her time runs out, which was around 10 minutes.

Is it possible to implement an additional timer for each move? So instead of 10+5 I would play 10+5+30. That additional 30 means that each player has 30 seconds for each move.
That way, when my opponent decides not to continue anymore, he/she should lose in 30 seconds, not in 10 minutes.
What 10+5+30 it not possible each move you play you get 5 sec increment .
I know that 10+5+30 is not possible yet. This is a feature request.
nah, some ppl take alot of time in crucial positions not like 30 secs per move

Then it will become 10+35 like if you want 35 mili secs then maybe yes it can be done but of offcourse 5+30 is 35 if you wnat secs so play 10+35 mins chess
A few ideas...

* Many players complain about, "How come Lichess forfeited me while I was trying to reconnect?" although this isn't an example of a connection issue so feel free to use lichess.org/report as is suggested in large, bold text on the "Create forum topic" screen: "To report a user for cheating or bad behaviour, use the report form".
* Chess players and tournament organizers have invented "delay" clocks which might be a good idea for Lichess to implement.
* With go, shogi, etc. a "byoyomi" (countdown) clock is used, which works similarly to your ask, but I doubt I could convince Lichess to implement and support it.

30 sec is obviously an example. It can also be 60, 90, 120 etc.

I think, you don't understand my question. You are not supposed to count all the numbers (10+5+30) together. Each number has its own purpose: 10 is the overall time, 5 is the increment per move, and 30 (or whatever number) could be the time for EACH move.
So if somebody decides to not take a move at all anymore, he will lose after 30 secs, not after the 10 minutes.
I think that, on a related note, a move timer could be interesting. Basically a correspondence timer, but for seconds or minutes instead of days.

Why would this be interesting? Has it been tried anywhere else before, and if so has it been successful? What am I missing here?

To answer your question literally, this is not possible; there is no button to do it. It sounds like you are not asking whether it is possible, but are asking whether a feature could be considered: see my comment#9 above in addition to http://xyproblem.info .
