Ablilty to have knights facing different directions

I want to be able to have both knights (starting out) to be facing king so i would know which knight came from where when doing puzzles or looking at positions.

Thanks
SA
All this time we were playing and thought lichess is perfect. What have you just done... By the way, they still would be broken!
Seems they should face... player himself. With very mean look.
Or they could make the queen's knight pink and the king's knight blue.
What if they swap places:

1. e4 2.d4 3.Ne2 4.Nd2 5.Nc3 6.Nf3
It really does not matter I don't get why you want this. If you want to know where they came from look at the PGN and also if it's a puzzle without PGN then it was clearly just set up, not from a played game, or it was taken from a played game that you can search up to find the PGN.

Anyway, it'd be a really useless feature.
@gbtami well of course it's not going to work on that i ment on Lichess Puzzles where it knows the whole position from the games it takes. And i want to be able to see the knights in facing different directions in games where lichess knows the game whole game (imported from the starting position or lichess played games).
@InnateAluminum It's just something i want to be able to have in Lichess.
@Sarg0n Notation doesn't have to change just the visual pieces orientation

This supposedly little change requires more work on the underlying code than you might think*, which is simply not worth it, since it adds very little usefulness (you are just too lazy to check for yourself where the knights came from).

*Nested conditions, hooray. And why stop at the knights? You could also show which bishop and which rook came from which wing. Or whether a queen was a promoted pawn. Or maybe an entire tooltip for each chesspiece that shows its complete history.
By the way, even in terms of the rules it is the same position (3-fold repetition) if pink and green horsie swap places.
Oh yes, I can already see the forum topics "HALP LICHESS IS BUGGED, IT DECLARED DRAW WHEN THE POSITION WAS OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT JUST LOOK AT THE HORSIES!!!111" in my mind's eye.

Hard enough for many people to get that it's threefold repetition of *positions*, not *moves*. Don't confuse them even more, please.
