Maybe other people actually have fun playing and improving and don't only complain on the forums about shit that they don't have any involvement in.

@TheGreenMachine420 Martial arts, Dance, Tennis, Sports camps,Cooking, Art, Music. This is a short list of things people spend money to learn. The vast majority of people know that they will never make a dime at what they are studying but they still fork over money to get better at it. Sometimes money isn't the goal.
Hey. So i will take a part in this discussion. I am from Vienna and i am FIDE Instructor. Chess coach is the worst coach to earn money in Austria. If you are football or fitness coach, you have chance to get a job. As chess coach i don‘t have possiblity to get regular job in school, club or anywhere. The only thing, i can do are private lessons like here on lichess. Last time i changed my rates a bit but earlier i gave lessons for only 10€/h and there were periods, when i had definitely to less students or even no students. Also the competition here on lichess is getting bigger. Last time here appeared new coaches from Phillipines or Arabic countries, who charge only like 6-7$/h. I can‘t charge like this or less in Austrian conditions. Ok, they are maybe not IMs but for many people good enough. Not everybody needs IM as a coach.
@TheGreenMachine420 Every person who loves chess and has the means to pay it would try private lessons to improve their game. It's like paying to have karate lessons, or piano lessons... most people do not care if this will have a finantial return, it's just that it's a good feeling to improve in something you are passionate about.

@IamyourFather is certified IM but anonymous and charges only 50$ for monthly program? Is one zero missing??? Mostly IMs charge like 30-50$/h. Is this monthly program like just 1h lesson and the rest just homework? Btw. he should ask lichess about coach profile to be visible on coach list. I see, that‘s only way to find students here. Ok, maybe he wants to be affordable and maybe he is even good coach but he doesn‘t look serious. This offer might be fake.
Just make one yourself, its not that difficult. At lower levels, put more emphasis on tactics, and as you gradually get better, start to practice some theory.

I can play with you and all infos about my coaching you will fine on my coach profile. If i remember correct, he is from Spain so i hardly believe, he is that cheap or it's kind of ,, You get, what you pay for". Maybe even it's cheater. He is anonymous. He is using unserious username and he doesn't wanna be listed on list of coaches on lichess. It's my warning.
Oh he wants to be listed in lichess coaches. But we don't.
