I only played ~ 100 games so far on here. But so far I am at 5% (5 cheaters out of 100 games). What is yours like approximately?

Same with me!!! I've played something like 3000 games - 5 cheaters found. Quite annoying...

How did you know they were cheating you?
roughly, yeah. Funny thing though, that I've never been suspicious about anybody, nor did I accuse one of these 5 cheaters. My chess-knowledge is just too limited to judge.
I only accused one person because it was just too obvious. He just crushed me. Every single move was perfect. And he got banned right away. The other four I just got a message from lichess that my points were refunded because I lost to a cheater. Probably someone else reported them.
I have about 1400 games. So far, it's only happened twice. Once I reported him, the other time not. Much less than 5%.
I really don't get why people think this is such a problem. I don't like playing engines, but I hate it less when I don't know they're a computer. So it's all good.

In 13 months of playing here a lot, I have only reported 4 people and action was taken in 3 of those cases. I have however been notified that opponents I didn't even suspect were cheating actually were.
Funny story about one. He was rated about 100 points below me, I won fairly comfortable in the first game working the White end of Philidor. I then accepted his offer of a rematch in which I was Black and played the Berlin Defense. His play was overwhelmingly strong and he triumphantly declared "I got you."
I was totally suspicious. I complimented his play and asked if he had studied Berlin a lot. His response: "What is Berlin?"

This is exactly why I don't offer or accept rematches. The same happened to me twice, my opponents were angry and cheated on the rematch game. One of the opponents was reported and banned, the other one I saw it after analyzing with the computer and I don't have proof but it was a perfect play in a complex game.
Since then I no longer offer or accept rematches. I know chances of cheaters are very low but it's hard to fight against the paranoia after that... People can be so childish sometimes.
