what is ur favorite opening?

I can't stand any openings that lead to symmetrical positions, so I avoid E4 and D4 openings generally. My main is the reti gambit. Against D4, I play the Budapest gambit. Against E4, I play the Stafford gambit. I'm not as crazy about that one though because when people decline it, it leads to such boring games in my experience. When they accept it's fun as hell though.
I only love two openings. The Spanish (with both colors, but mainly white) and the Grunfeld (with black). The Spanish is the Cadillac of chess openings as far as I'm concerned, and it's one that everyone should study and at least try playing, as it will broaden your general chess horizons and understanding so much. It is about as classical as it gets with sometimes a game of sharp, tactical fireworks (for example in some lines of the Marshall) and sometimes a 60+ move game of manoeuvring (for example in a Breyer) with closed centres, open centres etc. It is by far my favorite opening in all of chess.

With black I love playing the Grunfeld mainly because I know it better than anything else and have played it as my only serious defence to 1.d4 for years now. It is a very dynamic opening, where it often looks like White has all the trumps, but Black tends to get either quick or long-term counterplay because his pieces are always so active. It's an opening which allows you to fight sharply for a win (or not so sharply, just by pressurizing their centre) without actually compromising your position as for example in the Dutch or the KID.
With white pieces: Nimzo-Larson attack. With black pieces: Alekhine Defense.
Jerome Gambit is the only correct answer
White: Muzio, 1. b3 2. c4!? (This is my invention), Scotch
Black: Scandi (Modern scandi), 1. e4 b6
White: C44 Scotch Gambit
Black: B27 Sicilian Defense: Hyperaccelerated Dragon
Everyone comes along with crazy openings while my favorite openings are just:

White:
1.c4

Black:
Against e4: sicilian Dragon
Against d4: KID
