When you do that, you will get a principle variation (PV) cached on the Lichess servers. That variation is *not* the one usually presented in the solution.

This puzzle has been posted many times on Lichess and other chess sites. It is a well known puzzle.

[Edit: At the time of this post the PV is at depth 46 ply.]
I believe this was shown in Agadmator? I don't remember cause I saw it long back.
Tal‘s pet study. Crops up once a week in every chess forum worldwide.

I like this, attempting to gain some knokwledge about the constellation of lichess SF caches whether client side or server side (and in between... yes there must some netherland on the interweeb existing in the packets flow but not on servers or local machines, ok not really, but many local machines not being the client side or the server).

Some sort of cache auction. keep reporting the cloud depth (or whatever general combo between client, server, and distributed).
How does that work? Lichess, ô, Lichess, tell us. not in code.

Good question, I would have queened with white, this would also be the best move according to Stockfish 11 on lichess. But one can't stop black's pawns here...
Edit: @achja Thank you very much. What a move, I would have abandoned as white ^^
