The Antichess Community

I have noticed a lot a of drama occurring recently in the antichess community. Drama seems to always reoccur as well. How can we fix this fellow people? (P.S. I do not play antichess :b)

If the antichess community wish to stage theater productions, who are we to judge?

@ApplePie You are right that something in the anti community needs fixing. I did not even play any anti game before despite posting on the process of anti solution.

One day a bunch of people suddenly began to flood the CIA forum with claims that AM-Veriitas is a cheater which turns out to be a baseless statement which brought me into this community and its drama.. To prevent privacy issues I even closed this account and started another one, Bulanukh.

Unihedron already told me that it is impossible to police alts since Lichess does not have paid mods. It is impossible to ban people permanently from almost any website hence the conflict continues just with banned users changing accounts.

Bans do not solve the problem.. only reconciliation does. Recently I stopped some sandbagger with rating of 1028 from harming Veriitas by artificially lowering his rating and hence ranking. Nobody on Lichess can prevent more and more elaborate cheating, alting, sandbagging and boosting.

There is a team called Antichess Ghosts from which you can see how many anti players get chat-banned.

I hope everything improves..the community has to demilitarize itself..we should not bother Thibault and mods too much since they spend their spare time here...:) Some technical measures should be applied but mods should not bear the responsibility to hunt bad behavior manually..

The problem is, people are quite often assholes. When you have a crappy variant that can't even be policed properly, you get anarchy. Antichess is like anarchy-meets-nerd, which is a total nightmare.

The solution is GUNS.

Or better still, NUKES.

#5 You are right that the anti community is in almost anarchy unlike the atomic community for example, which is friendly and drama-free.

We have the anti variant, but not its engine, which makes cheater-catching hard. Most mods are not playing anti at all..there is at least one mod with 2000+ anti rating though..

We have too many rating-pursuing and ranking-pursuing players unfortunately. My suggestion is to form an Antichess Auxiliary Investigation Agency so that people with anti engines can look for cheaters and write cheater reports for the community. These people will have no power and just assist the mods.

Issues are running wild now. People flooding chats with insults, attempt to lower people's ranking, attempt to sandbag and bash people's rating, many prominent players banned and use alts to chat...and finally both sides want the other side banned. We recently have 960 and Ali labeled..

I think that there are a whole bunch of antichess cheaters. Maybe it's just me, but antichess ratings seem to have severely deflated without a significant increase in the size of the pool of players.

There are even more experienced players making alts, play and hence lower others' rating, be it intentional or not. I'm not sure which anti player actually has no active alts. Jeff claims to be one..

There is also the widely alleged behavior of intentionally lowering others' rating and ranking.

Why do you whine about sandbaggers and such if you ratings and rankings aren't important to you? Clearly it is important to you, so this bit of condescending judgment by you makes no sense.

I have not even played any rated anti game as cat_person..I believe I'm below 1500 especially for fast games.

This Sandbagging is mainly an issue with experienced players with 1800+ rating. I'm just a guy that post about i t since I have 2000+ friends..please do not shoot the messenger...
