I'd like to work through a book of Spassky's games. I have so many unread chess books on my shelf that I haven't done any research on which one [but I'm open to suggestions].

My retort is ｢ジョン・レノン対火星人｣ or "John Lennon vs the Martians" if you prefer.
Pertinence to chess (or shōgi) may appear slightly questionable at first, but in reality Takahashi Genichirō can be related to almost everything.

I own a copy of Bezgodov's foundational book (Lichess should really stop calling HIS delayed wing gambit "Mengarini Variation") since long time.
It can still be bought, at a reasonable price, in a few dedicated chess stores.
Same thing for the more recent and comprehensive "The Modern Anti-Sicilian" by Soloviov.
Did anyone read the book "Positional decision making in chess" written by Boris Gelfand ?
