Should I play 1.e4 as white and 2.e5 as black?

I've been playing d4 for a white and never went back to 1.e4 2.e5 stuff. But now I've tried to do e4 e5 and i actually liked the style of open aggressive games.
you mean 1 ... e5? just watch out for a scotch after 2. Nf3 NC6

There are many responses to E4 though.
After 11 moves of play from both sides these responses give the following advantages when played to theory:

So to answer your question 1... e5 is nice, 1...e6 is slightly better after a few moves and development for black.

Occasionally I invite the early push with a Robatsch via 1.e4 g6 2. d4 Bg7. Ive studied about 7 variations to that as well. This mainline is listed above and leaves white with a .3 advantage after getting through some development.

Hope this helps... btw I apologize if any of my notation is off, as I notate differently at home than the rest of the world and this was translated to modern notation very quickly for your sake so let me know if anything is off please.
I may have misunderstood your initial post, are you saying you're pushing your pawn on your second move? or this is a response from black?

Either way, hope I gave you some options to look at.
I play 1.e4 as white and 1.e4, e5 as black, and I am not getting many troubles out of the opening.
1.e4 e5*
Basically:
White: 1.e4
Black: 1.e4 e5 (e5 is blacks response)
If you played to theory after that push you give a slight advantage to black.

1. e4 e6 2. e5 c5 3. Nf3 Nc6 4. b3 b6
5. Bb2 Bb7 6. Na3 Be7 7. Bd3 d5 8. exd6 Bf6
9. Bxf6 Nxf6 10. Nc4 O-O 11. Qe2 Nb4 12. O-O b5
13. Nce5 Qxd6 14. Rfc1 Nxd3 15. Qxd3 Qb6

by your move 2. e5 they have a .4 advantage.
this fluctuates between even to .5 advantage for black around moves 4 and 6 respectively. After development and the invitation to trade queens on move 15 black is still up .3 vs all the above options I gave you for white. Unless of course you broke or do break from theory early to try and force blunders.

It does not matter what you play on move 1.
It matters what you play on moves 5-10-20-40.
Against me you should play 1. a3 and 1... a6
