Seeking Feedback: Interactive Twitch Chess Experience with Voting System

Hello, I am an aspiring programmer, and I'm currently developing a Twitch channel where viewers can compete against one another using a voting system. I'm seeking advice on how to enhance this experience. So far, players can join a team by typing !join white or !join black, and then vote on a move using !vote <move>. For example: !vote e2e4.

The chat bot provides 30 seconds for each side to cast their votes for a move. After the 30 seconds have passed, the chat bot executes the most-voted legal move by the viewers. If there are no legal moves voted, the chat bot will randomly select and perform a move.

I'm uncertain if this setup is appealing or if it's the most effective approach. I'd greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions.
