If I may ask, what's your motivation behind asking these questions?

As for me: of course I play RK and it sure is interesting. I'm not so sure what you mean with the society but RK is definitely the kind of variant where the leaderboards are hogged by people only playing against low rated opponents once a week. And it's sad that RK is the least popular variant but I fear that that won't change a lot in the future.

My motivation is that I want racing kings to be more popular, also this is a discussion forum , so people discuss issues that stick in their heads
