Helllllllo,
It's been a while since I had regular games in these lines albeit my old sparring partner used to play the apparently less common 6. Bd2.
In the line from the embed game, my database marks Qf6 a bad move as opposed to Nf6, whereas in the Bd2 x x line, it's most popular and seems fine.
I only have a 6 yr old database that lacks any modern stuff so to anyone who plays this Nbd2 line as White, can you tell me is there a concrete reason, or pointer GM games I can look at, that explain the difference between ...Qf6 with the dark Bishops removed or kept on?
