I played a rated classical game against someone who cheats. He got banned after I reported him but I did not get my points back. How is that possible... Now I just feel dumb.
Didn't lichess send you a notification saying that you lost to a cheater refund how many ever classical points?
Nope, it just said that action has been taken against someone I reported...

I sent some kind of an appeal. They will probably ignore it because they are so unreachable. We’ll see. I just don’t know how was it not obvious that I should get my points back after the ban...

Thanks for the reply bro. Guess I will never play classical again here.

If I play Classical Arena there's a high probability to play one pame against an engine.
So you have to ask yourself if rating points or learning is interesting.

I just don’t like losing an hour of my time plus losing rating points against someone who is not a better chess player than me. That’s all. If I want to play against a bot I’ll go to lichess bots or chess.com bots and play them.
