Alright, here's a summary of key points:
- @opperwezen has chosen to contribute his most recent $50 prize from the people's champion match towards encouraging a match between @Jasugi99 and @JannLee
- I have confirmation from @mastertan that he also supports this idea and the $60 prize which he returned from this year's candidates stage will also go towards funding the match
- Together, the generous contributions of @opperwezen and @mastertan have provided a pot of $110 to play for
- For another 10% action, @Jasugi99 and @JannLee have agreed to play a series of 110 games at 1+0 time control, where the prize fund of $110 will be distributed based on $1 per game won
- This should encourage each and every game to be competitive and hard fought, regardless of overall progressive score
- Given CWC and people's champion matches have just been played, this match need not carry a title - it will suffice to simply call this an "old school rivals" match
All that's left to do is schedule some dates and times. We're looking forward to it, so we'll make it happen and update again!

Ok so just hear me out, get Naka and Magnus to consider this....bughouse matches, Naka and Magnus vs Jasugi99 and the Chicken. And rotate in Jann Lee and Mastertan. And if opper wants in on the action , make it opper and Jkthebullfrog. Bughouse would completely make lichess and A+ website. Not sure why the owner of this site has not programmed in bughouse. I love crazyhouse, its the foundation of great bughouse players. but 2 on 2 in bughouse is what makes chess so exciting. Love the 1/4 min chess too. But in meantime , keep these glorious zh matches on lichess going for now. Golden fun.
