Did he really do that? I am sorry, but at my age I would not even think about only playing with white. You must know that I am an oldtimer here. I have no idea of all these tricks. I just go and play, whatever color I get.

His arena results are erased in lichess.org/@/civil2000/tournaments/recent so he was still marked for illegal assistance

Yes lots of people cheat, it's a big problem in online chess which is you shouldn't take high level chess here seriously at all. Rest assured the people behind lichess have no authority in the world of professional chess. When I got banned for saying something they didn't like I got the impression that I was dealing with self-important schoolboys with badges, and don't ever expect them to explain their reasoning behind why they banned someone. That would oppen them up to scrutiny they couldn't defend themsleves against which is why it gets done behind closed doors.

I am really very sad about this situation but first of all, I hereby formally apologize if I offended somebody or if I offended the people working at Lichess. I have no idea, why they would not tell us why people get banned, but they must have a reason to do so. The only thing I can recommend to anybody playing here is to never cheat, not even try to cheat. I don ́t know how to react now, I am really very confused about this situation. I never cheated here on Lichess and getting rating points is not my priority here, but having some fun playing chess and training my brain.

@TMuller if you calmed down then please take the effort to read my blog, you'll find all answers there. And also question the fact of having a friend who reacted with all caps shouts first, and then just recently handed out a "fuck you"
