New interface is lagging?

I thought so when V2 first launched and now the lag is hardly I am feeling!!looks like an issue of behavior change,nothing to do with browser!Windows 7 and 10, Opera latest.

I am also having some minor lagspikes while viewing certain games in the "Analysis board" or when viewing some embeds on 64-bit Firefox version 66.0.5 (Ubuntu). Luckily, no lag is present during actual games.

Same with me. The last 20 sec.in fast games there is a retard of 2-4 sec.at every move. What to do?

I had a quite won game, with plenty of time, but the lags killed it.

TERRIBLE LAG.... could be 5 to 15 seconds... (how can I know exactly?)... I went from 30 seconds to 14 seconds to "lose on time" and that is with a 5 second increment, and making fast moves...

I think the clock went from 14 seconds to zero, with my last king move too late, even though I made it as soon as I saw my opponent's move.

I have never had this kind of trouble with Lichess before... Isn't this upgrade several days old by now? If it is this messed up, why not revert to the one that works and fix this before many more games get ruined?

I am using Firefox. I will not switch to Chrome. If need be I will find another chess site, but I like Lichess a lot.... how long to fix this?

Thank you to the Lichess developers for what has been a great site... but right now I am frustrated at losing the game solely due to TERRIBLE LAG.

Just did a "Speedtest.net" test and got Ping: 13ms, 27 Mbps down, 11 Mbps up. This should be fast enough, shouldn't it? To play chess??

@palom this sounds like "Lag" is the new "CHEATERS!1" excuse.

They're aware of reports of lag but can't reproduce.

Just had different, yet similar, clock problems. Game is in final minute or so, and after I make my moves, opponent's clock does not move.... I was checking to see if I had a good connection, and I did....

here is the game, in case looking at the time records can help document. Also i wrote chat that documented the problem:

On opponent's fnal move, his/her time froze at 4:52, then went UP to 4:53 and I flagged while opponent's move was displayed. Clearly I was not getting their moves on time, along with their clock not moving during their moves....

Same problem with this game... I did find my connection had failed, but reconnected, and still the opponent's clock did not move. My comments took until after game was over to appear though sent perhaps 40 seconds before game was over...

this started happening over 10 days before the update. I think it is not related to the new interface.
