I play the french as black but don't manage to get a good position against the French defence as white what will you suggest me to play against the French to get a good position??

If you want a draw go for the exchange variation. If you want a trick line go for two knights variation with 6.Bg5. If you want a win there are many variations like tha paulsen variation, advanced variation etc.
@agg144 Thanks for the comment I play the advance against the French but my position worsens suddenly I am planless and clueless
@Mahith1708 do you know theory or you dont know what to do in the middlegame?
