en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICCF_numeric_notation

Pros: Easier to learn in some respects; easier to find a square if you're new, more noticeable numeric relationships between certain squares, good for keyboard move input since you could just use one hand on the number pad.

Cons: Move notation doesn't explicitly denote which piece is being moved, etc

Any thoughts?

Con: fewer puns available for Ben Finegold to make jokes out of.

In some languages, the numbers have different symbols.

For example:

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_numerals

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_numerals

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_numerals

This notation cannot be truly international because many current world languages do not use numerals 0123456789.

Please come up with something else.
