@ruzgar9543 the ulster county community college test! I got a 101 in English and 100 in math!
@Yoyboi the passing score is 500...
@ruzgar9543 no thats not the passing grade!
@Yoyboi then what is it?
It's not a passing test it's the level I am at math and English.
@Yoyboi then you didn't pass the test like you said it in lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/is-chess-damaging-to-ones-mental-health?page=22#211
@pawnmulch Yes, Tal had serious medical problems throughout his life, including some minor birth defects, and liver trouble which was likely made worse by the drinking, and multiple rounds of surgery. His drinking was not debilitating in itself.
When Tal was in the hospital during the Mar del Plata event, Fischer went to visit him (!), as did no other contestants.
Among many 'correlations' between chess and mental illness, an extreme example was David Bronstein, as detailed in Sosonko's book Rise and Fall of David Bronstein.
@sparowe14 by this logic, chess causes birth defects, so probably not because he played chess.
@ruzgar9543 I did not say one darn thing about causation or logic. What's wrong with you? Can't you have a simple conversation without turning it into a debate?
