Internet chess is meaningless due to cheats and fast time control

<Comment deleted by user>
Well, it serves me well for training and fun purposes. In a certain sense you are right. @Epistle111

Sarg0n says: When the last club is shut down, the last Open closed, the last King disappeared and the last flag fallen, you will realize that you cannot play chess online earnestly.
At our level there are very few cheaters. They all get caught fast, or at least gain a ton of rating and we don't face them anyway.

I encourage you to just relax and enjoy the game. If you think someone is cheating you can use lichess.org/report.
Have fun!

It's just another online society and we won't necessarily talk about too much at otb events. Internet chess is a great tool though
i thumbsed up the first comment before anyone and then losers turn it into a down up war like safe space sjws
did the thumbs down offend you epistle? do you need a safe space?

don't let the thumbs down offend you unless you are a snowflake, or course. They don't mean people don't like you and they don't mean people think you are an idiot or whatever. They just mean they didn't agree with that one opinion of yours. Unless you're a conservative your opinions should change when new information proves the old ones wrong. It's the scientific way.

I agree it's meaningless for 99.9% of people, but not due to time control or cheats.
