I actually feel like quitting chess

I am not joking why would i joke about this
I can relate to that feeling. I have tried quite a few times and I have always come back. Quit while you can. invest your time more wisely - READ. Good luck
Keep in mind that this is only one loss. Get over this loss and continue trying your best. I know this feeling from real life when you lose to a player that is a lot lower rated than you.

One suggestion is to take a short break from chess. However, if you really want to, and you are quite confident that it is the right choice, then go ahead and quit. (But I wouldn't do that if I were you)
Me losing a game from a -8 position:

Me losing a game against a 1121 as a 1513:

Anish Giri losing nearly $150k to Magnus Carlsen because he failed to convert a +5.1 position to a win:
(look at game 4).

Did I quit chess? No.
Did Giri quit? No.
Similarly, should you quit @Komokid? No.
Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. It got to be such a grind and I didn't have the time to dedicate to booking up. Being trounced due to lack of opening prep was getting to me.

Then I discovered Chess960 and playing against the computer all the time. Being able to pick the level I play at is wonderful. Totally hooked on lichess.org and Chess960 5+8 time controls. Game is over quickly and no opening books to memorise.
Mine wasn't as serious but I took a 2 month break from puzzles when my puzzle rating dropped from 2019 to 1200.
