How to prepare for a chess tournament?

@WeiWeiGames 1. play more games to gain your experience 2. play puzzles to learn some tactics 3. learn some openings or endgames :D Hope this helped!
If it is an over-the-board tournament, then also train playing on a board, especially for small time controls. You really need to learn playing quickly, otherwise you will loose valuable seconds and run out of time.

Generally it helped me to extensively study one opening for white very intensively, rather then knowing a bit of many different openings. With black you need to adept way more anyway.
