How to leave chess addiction?

I can't improve at the game and I am wasting too much time here . I am in 13th grade (college 1st yr) for 13 years , and I am spending useless 3-4 hrs here and even more ! I am also losing rating by more than 40 each day and also wasting time . I tried closing my account but I always get the urge to play and I can't control myself from reopening account and then playing in lichess although I want to leave the game . I decided this same thing for 10 times 1 month each for 10 months .... and today I played 50 blitz games and lost 50 rating (1780->1730). 20 bullet (lost 34 rating) Please help ?
I just want to abandon my rating gain urge , chess addiction, and make 50 games per day to 50 games per month and then 50 games per year , then 50 games per decade , then 50 games per century , then 50 games per birth
it says your account is closed. if you went off to get pregnant so you can have another 50 games, i would say that is not an efficient way to ration games
We'll have to discuss this matter with him when he opens a new account...

Sadly and happily (?) this is true. I don't think it will ever be possible to leave chess once you invest enough time in it. So I will always be wasting some of my time on it. For better or worse...
you can check any time you like, but you can never leave
I hate chess but played 100,000 games so far and counting. So there is that .....
I have been playing chess since the Christmas after my 7th birthday. I am almost 48 now. I enjoy it too much to quit. I realize it is possible to improve my game, but I don't expect to become a grandmaster. That ship has sailed...
