How motivate yourself to win in chess?

I like chess but I have very little interest in winning games, especially if a game is long and boring. Surely had I known chess better I would consider much more positions interesting and worth playing, but now I just resign because I have no motivation to play.

I guess lichess rules implicitly assume that a player wants to win games but I don't. So how to start wanting to win games and comply the rules?
Its like anything in life. You play a sport and only want to play the fun parts the parts where action is happening. You just have to through it like anything else it life.
I associate winning in chess with other more tangible rewards and punishments. For example, whenever I lose a game I tell my neighbour, who is an amateur boxer, to give me a liver blow. If I win, I am allowed to eat dinner.
Its like grinding in a video game no one wants to do it but if you want the award you do it. No one wants to spend hous looking at a game they lost but alot of gm's do because they want that awards of winning so bad.
Also have fun try different variations of chess. I got bored of normal standard chess so try something win my work?
I'm always consider chess as mind lab. Beside of any theories from the books, I'm also consider how to explore my own by testing it everyday. Of course my rating average, but Im still continue it everyday
