How do I bid computer vs. computer?

Hi guys,

is there a place here (or on any other site or software) where I can make (and watch) two machines playing against one another (say, stockfish 9+ against stockfish 9+)?

It sounds so cool to me if there in fact is such a function!

Thanks!
Amit.
Oh, great!!! I'm really happy it can be done :-) Thank you!

By the way, just for the sake of greediness - I see PyChess only runs Stockfish 8. Can I make him run Stockfish 9+? Is there somewhere else that runs Stockfish 9+?

Thanks again!
@amishan92 If you're not concerned about time, only accuracy of moves, then you can simply use analysis board and manually input moves when the engine's analysis reaches your desired depth (or other stat/measurement?).
Yeah, that I know.

By the way, a somewhat unrelated question - how come when I bid Stockfish 8 vs. Stockfish 8, it is possible for the white or black to win the game? And how is it even possible that different games are being played every time I bid the two engines against each other with the same time frame?
You can download all development version of Stockfish for free http://abrok.eu/stockfish/
Then simply create it as a new UCI engine in your GUI of choice.

How can games go differently? There are a number of possible reasons: If you play with opening book they might have gotten a different opening (opening books usually are nondeterministic). If not it could still be e.g. due to multithreading which makes the engine nondeterministic or even on a single core it can depend on the load on your CPU, e.g. if your CPU is running hot already then Stockfish might not get as much CPU time thus it is as if it had less time. (which of course can lead to different moves)

How can one side win? Because thankfully Stockfish isn't god and still does make mistakes even though they might be close to impossible to spot for a human. But a strong opponent (e.g. Stockfish, seeing one move further because the game has progressed by a move) might. :)
All my questions answered and my prayers too!

Thank you so much, guys!!!
