Some of my favorite games were kasparov losing to Petrosian.

Smyslov was World Chess Champion ... I KNEW it was the Qf5 !! Game ... Nice Defensive IDEA . I had stored THAT ONE in my memory & as soon as you said the game I thought it might be THAT GAME , Very memorable . Smyslov had just played Botvinnik THREE Matches for the World Title Drawing One Winning One Losing One , @juliegirl1999 ... I refer you to THE BOOK 125 Selected Games by Smyslov also Rook Endings by Smyslov & Levenfish even though computer corrections are available gives great advice & Instruction in the First Chapter especially if you read that chapter twice as he wants (would like would've) you to do
Smyslov is only person to win candiates twice in row in tournament format iirc
So 16 y.o. Bobby lost against a talented singer.
