Cryptocoin Mining

Hello. I really want to help lichess by any means.
Not so long ago began to appear crypto currency mining integrated in the pages of the site. I understand that this should not be on the pages of the "lichess" site, but you can make separate pages in the donat section. As one of the ways to help "lichess", open a page that will extract the crypto currency for "lichess".
You can make several such pages with different processor loads. For example, if I work on a computer, then I can safely provide 5-10% capacity. To do this, I'll open a page that consumes 5 or 10 percent of the processor's power. And if I go to sleep, I can open a page that will consume 80-90% of the processor's power. I do not mind, and "lichess" will get very necessary to him finances for paying servers, and holding prize tournaments.
These pages will be opened only by the users themselves at their request, they will understand why they open these pages.
Thank you. All the best.
From what I've read it seems that's not really a good way to make use of processing power.
@lovlas
You might think so. But, it seems to me, many people will have extra power for their favorite site "lichess".
you know it will cost the user more electricity than the money made right? at that rate it's just better to donate the electricity money you would have saved
It is intensive, returns very little money on unspecialized hardware (like the normal desktops and laptops people play chess on!), and is extremely bad for the environment.
@Meio
Absolutely serious! I am ready to do this. I think I'm not the only one.
I have almost no money, but I have a lot of very cheap electricity. And I turn off the computer very rarely.

@fpvbmct
To someone like me, it will cost very little. It all depends on the conditions where you live. Somewhere, electricity is almost free.
In this case, a person does not need to do anything. You do not need to save money. There is no need to find a way to transfer them to "lichess". Just open the page and that's it. He already helps.

@muxxi
I still do not turn off the computer. I will still be standing idle or making a profit "lichess". I choose the second.
@SIowpok

Computers doesn't work like that. If you are running intensive processes, it will use significantly more power (and be more damaging to the hardware long-run) than when not.

Furthermore, I want to mention once again that there are basically no money to get through mining cryptocurrencies on non-specialized non-ASIC hardware. General purpose CPUs are notoriously bad at it, and you use several times more electricity than you mine for the money. It is economically and environmentally inefficient.

If you want to help lichess, you are way better of by actually donating money, instead of indirectly giving electricity.
@muxxi

And I'll explain it to you again.

1. I have no money. And I have a lot of electricity. I can help that way. You may be surprised, but there are people whose income is several dollars a month. How can they help? But they can have access to cheap electricity.

2. It's more convenient. I do not have to do anything, I just open the page and do not care about where to get the money and how to send them "lichess". You may be surprised, but for some people it is very difficult to send money to someone. They do not know how. Or they do not have a credit card.

You probably live in some European country or in another developed country and it seems to you that everything you say is very simple. Believe me, for many it's not easy.
But to open a page in a browser is really simple.

I see no point arguing on this subject. How much effort does it take to make such a page? I think these efforts are minimal. And if so, it should be done and see what kind of effect this will have, rather than arguing ad infinitum.
I really, truly doubt that your electricity is cheaper than the money you make with mining on some general-purpose hardware. What do the electricity cost? No matter where you live this is the case.
