Some of us already will have played this version of chess. Is it positiv or negativ for our western chess abilities to know the rules of this game or having opening or endgame knowledge?
It is for example possible, that a knight can take his opponent's knight but not vice versa.
It cannot hurt. I played it a long time ago, probably should take it up again.

Good question, I have played it in the past
The knights move differently so you might get confused by that
it is also less aggressive because 3 (technically 4) pieces- are pawns pieces there?- can attack
