Cheat !!! - glock was grey - seems my opponent disabled his own glock and so i lost on time

"My opponent hacked my mouse and made me misclick"
"My opponent altered my piece set to make my rook look like a pawn"
"My opponent hypnotised me into thinking we were playing draughts"
"My opponent used the Internet to steal the battery life from my laptop"
"My opponent distracted me by calling my phone pretending to be my father"

Cheating is getting so cunning these days.
I'm not sure it's possible to disable your clock, I think it's more likely you had connection issues
Hi all,
thank you for your answers.
First of all - I play here since 2 years regularly and did not have this problem before.
I, myself took the strategy in the endgame to move very fast to get my opponent into serious time trouble. This was a good strategy and then this failure came up. Sorry, that I was very angry about it and also sorry, if I blaimed my opponent and he was not responsible for the glock-failure. Nevertheless, if there is a cheat behind, maybe occurs also to other people, i think it is good to talk about it
I think the issue he had was it looks like the opponents clock is running but really his is. normally the client detects if you have lost connection and tells you but there has been a bug recently that doesn't show this happening. it happens even when you have a good connection so i'm thinking it is a bug in the server
You'd think in 2019 the basics of a client-server architecture would be taught in Kindergarten but it still amazes me how little people understand about how internet works.
For someone to "disable your clock" he'd basically need to hack into the lichess server which while not impossible is extremely unlikely.
I've been getting a lot of this clock problem recently. It is infuriating when you are winning a game with plenty of time and suddenly it seems to lock up, no one's clock is running, then you discover you've lost 25secs or more of time as something hasn't caught up. I'm on a superfast fibre connection here btw.
Your opp. held you at gunpoint wth a glock? Go call 911or whatever the police phone is for you instead of lichess.
