Can someone here please make comment on the Kickstarter which makes it clear that it's a scam? Innocent comments have arrived at the top now.
To they guys talking about knight....I know how to make the knight go over pieces for sure but really it’s unconventional for speed chess and rather a pointless gimmick but yes it might look cool, but not worth it. I’m all about speed and function, better to just make a skinny Knight that goes between pieces.or if you do not want a skinny knight the knight needs to have recognized orientation and skinny one way or another to fit between pieces.
My personal guess is that many of that initial surge of KS backers were fake accounts associated with the scam. Why would they buy their own product, you ask? Several reasons. 1) To gain a sense of excitement and legitimacy. People are reassured by viewing projects that have blown past their funding goals. 2) To game KS's algorithms which give extra prominence to projects that are trending. There's certainly a feedback loop there.
And I'm guessing that they were planning to slowly back out some of those initial scam purchases once more people had jumped on board and it would be less noticeable. I think they had zero intention of seeing those initial purchases through to the end.
It's utterly unconscionable to me that KS hasn't removed this project yet.

@ukulelehobo yes it has to be that or people who want to get it closed down doing a bunch or charge backs. Really not sure how kickstart works though to guess...

Seriously, if you’re going to spend money to support a relatively new project on kickstarter, when 99% of everyone else is saying it’s a scam, you should be sure it’s going to work, not just hope xD

@AcademicNinja99 You're point is good. I thought the same when I read that comment. I suppose people really want to believe. It's like not everyone can follow all the reasons why this proyect is actually a tremendous scam. Some people can't follow those tracks so easily and are willing to believe... in something. In fact, i'm a believer (somehow), but in the case I see a lot of proofs I just diminished my dreams and take me down to earth.
And money is slowly going down: $35.000 now.
