Regium: Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence

the parody is too good.

I like how in the clarifications video they didn't even bother to explain why 4 of their team members don't exist. The knight/bishop explanation is complete garbage as well.
Regarding invisible strings/magnets/etc.
It's really not possible to have so smooth and precise movements with those.
Also at the moment of the magnet attach/detach a piece would twitch a bit. With strings it wouldn't be able to stop so quickly.

Even if it was a human moving pieces with their hand (which was later removed through video editing), it's still hard to do it with precision.
When people want to move something precisely, then tend to slow down near the end of the trajectory (you can try that yourself with chess pieces or arbitrary objects on your desk), and it's not happening here.

So I find it very unlikely that pieces move by a human (through magnets, threads etc).
I still think it's some kind of computer generated animation (especially given that the previous video was clearly edited and not done with mechanical tricks).
I like the parody very much indeed :) - i would promote it if I only could :) - even the eyes reading from a distant screen instead following the camera are greatly appreciated :)

Regarding #368 @Tore5 there is a usage of Adob* Premiere but also as Parody says there is an Adob* After Effects applications, i think its newer and can instantly blur the things up :) youtu.be/sTXJ3rV04DQ?t=28 - stop motion movies are now only artistic and kindergarten kind of technology

Hey, does anybody notice that in the FAQ video, when he shows off his 'brilliantly handcrafted piece', the bishop and queens bottoms look very suspicious? if you play it at 0.25 speed, it is actually only green felt. They are very hard to catch, but you could see it if you have keen eyes and look carefully at the right moment.
if there is green felt there, there would be no space for electromagnets right( unless I am overestimating the size of the electromagnets)?

P.S I finally got to the end of this forum, not sure if many did this but I read through all 394 posts before I typed this, I'll tell you, it took me 2 days. :D

@gamemonster2019

Supposedly the electro magnets are inside the board, and the way the pieces would be made is by having iron in their base. The green felt doesn’t matter, the iron base could just be encased in the wood and covered with felt.
LOL.

I'm so happy the "internet" has grown up collectively. Random guys promising snake oil from their living room finally are not taken seriously. It's been a long way since the Nigerian Princes' emails. Or maybe it's just that you gotta be very naive to try to trick a chess community, where logical thinking is proactively incentivised.

With this being said, I still suspend my final judgement until the guys will show us the board *and* the table. No funny shtuff.
@mooskagh

"Also at the moment of the magnet attach/detach a piece would twitch a bit."

I'm not saying it was done with magnets, but if it was, there would be no need to attach/detach the magnets - you could have one magnet attached to each piece you want to move "automatically".

But I agree, it would require practice and coordination to make it look smooth.
