#66 @magazine001 why do you think that?
There's a pity king on d1.
hahaha.......
The history of chess set design is very interesting (in my opinion) we wrote something on the origin of the Staunton pattern here which readers might find interesting

In a nutshell, we found that it (Staunton pattern) was designed following the already standard book symbols in use at that time.

the pieces are great
I like it, but as a Rookie, I feel somewhat disenfranchised by the such piece-ism. I demand equal representation for all pieces!
It looks like a hippo-unicorn crossover...
yeah this knight have too many black pieces eaten
On a technical level: In Firefox the new icon on the "top sites" screen doesn't fill the available space as it did before. When using Firefox to create an icon on the launcher/homescreen the corners of the icon are very pixelated, like it's corrupt. In Firefox history the icon looks like a leaf.
On a personal level: It's round. Knights are not normally round. Is it supposed to represent a knight in a wheelchair? A fat knight? It's horrible.

I love it however the background color needs to be transparent and not white, it looks not very neat in my bookmark tab see photo to see what i mean as compared to other sites, make it look modern and stylish but yet simple.
