Thank you for the contribution and work to sadsnake1, Thibault and the community. Lichess is one of my favourite free software projects to use and this mostly due to the amazingly dynamic organic growth.
Regarding the piece sets: Besides being aesthetically pleasing, I'm happy to see another option without a cross on the king, as one of the Asian kids at our libraries' chess night asked me why it was there. We had a (very) short talk about European history and its connection to chess to explain, but aside from the Bauhaus variant most sets sold in Germany just have it.

I like it, the direction it's looking in is taking a while to get used to.

it reminds me of a sleeping cat; BUT I consider this both modern and appealing. I think it's pretty great, so thank the artist.
I don't want to be that guy, but honestly I don't like it. And why its oriented to the right ? At least the orientation of the previous logo could have been preserved.
I would love some more sound themes, too. Is anyone out there good with that sort of thing?
