Crazyhouse World Championship Candidates

Looking forward to this :) I hope that many games are streamed otherwise i have no idea whats going on but i do enjoy the commentarys. Jann Lee my favourite, so laid back and modest, and informative
while this is good, sad that only crazyhouse is where big tournaments and big events happen. You never see them in KOTH, atomic, 3+, etc. :(
@TrappedPiece 3+ and atomic need reform, KOTH is very close to orthodox chess, anti is a solved variant, and RK and Horde are very unpopular. That doesn't disqualify them for such events, of course, and I love all of those variants a lot; however, for the time being, I don't think it's wise to invest in these variants when all variants only make up 1% of the games on lichess. IMO, we need cohesion in the variants community.
@FischyVishy Unfortunately, variants can not reform if there are no streamers. That is the main reason atomic is not popular IMO. And most tournaments are insanely fast tcs like 0+1 or 1/2+0 so newcomers can not learn anything. I am pretty sure atomic would be at least 2-3 times more popular if there were streamers and tournaments with tcs that make sense.
anti might be solved, but it's kinda hard to memorize the solution.. ;)
@the-lone-wolf @FischyVishy plus if the 50 move rule is applied then as far as I understand Antichess isn't solved, since the forced win involves 90-move-long exact endgames in the 1.e3 b6 variation if I remember correctly, and the 1.e3 c5 solution is similarly horrendous
To be honest 3 + needs some attention.. Because people think one side has an easy win, but it is not ture! Hopefully @FischyVishy considers making a big toury for it!!
