All my best victories came in the last 2 weeks this proves that I am a shooting star on the rise in RK.

I beat a chess bully 2 out of 3 and shut them down.

I have reached the top 25%.

The only negative is I seem to have leveled off but that could just be a bump in the road and I might start to climb in the ratings again.

Do any of you think I will achieve my goal and make the top 10% by the end of the year?
bro they're not even a bully they're just better than you. accept that.

@the_chess_star_100 is not a bully - they're actually really nice and seem cool. they also beat u like 10 times before u beat them "2/3" so the real score is like 2/13

you might be able to achieve top 10% by the end of the year. but you DON'T NEED TO BRAG ABOUT IT LIKE YOU DO EVERY SINGLE SLIGHTLY GOOD THING YOU DO.

nobody really cares if you get top 10% or not.

except yourself of course.
I guess its really up to me if I make it to the top 10% because I would have to put some effort into it like studying opening theory and mid game also.

I think just playing will not be enough to get to the top 10%.

Lets face it most of the players in the top 10% are not just there because they have played a lot of games I am sure they study the game also.

My above average IQ and 20 years of playing chess on a regular basis will only take me so far I need to study the game if I am going to be in the top 10%.
@rmilin

RK is different from normal chess and many variants in a few major ways.

yes, studying the game and openings is good. But in RK, there are fewer openings to learn. Sadly, i haven't found anywhere that offers racing kings puzzles, as i think lichess is the only site that supports RK.

i did find this study for puzzles lichess.org/study/nEVtmo0J

mostly just practice recognize when you can safely capture a seemingly protected piece because of the no-checks rule.
