Have you ever played what you consider to be a beautiful game? One that stands out amongst the rest of your okay games or just plain ugly games... I have: There was a rook sac to break up a formidable center and a queen sac that lead to positional superiority... I was down alot in material but I had my opponent's King just where I wanted Him. Sadly, that game is buried in history and will never be found... It reminds me of Karpov's Immortal Game and I didn't even know who Karpov was at the time I played it. ( It sure would be nice to be able to save our ' special ' games.) It would also be nice if Lichess could create a way for our Beautiful games to be recognized by the community... We submit our game, a panel of judges select 10 nominees from the submissions, The community votes on the best from the 10 nominees, and the winner's game is Immortalized... perhaps, entered into some kind of Hall of Fame. Please post your Beautiful games ( if you can find them) and any comments on the subject would be most welcome.
