80+ scores in puzzle racer

Its weird how some players achieve score 80 or more in puzzle racer, how they can click so fast even if they see the tactics so quick, but its still weird. Am i missing something? Some possibility in that option to gather more points? Thanks in advance for answers.

no your not missing anything. you just have to get really fast at seeing easy puzzles.

basically just get better :)

Combo bar

Each correct move fills the combo bar. When the bar is full, you get a points bonus, and you increase the value of the next bonus.

Bonus values:

5 moves: +1 point
12 moves: +2 points
20 moves: +3 points
30 moves: +4 points
Then +4 points every 10 other moves.
When you play a wrong move, the combo bar is depleted.

Skip

You can skip one move per race. Use it strategically, near the end of the race when puzzles get harder, and to preserve your combo bar.

Assuming you make no mistakes, 25 solved puzzles give a score around 80, depending on how long they are. I cannot achieve more than that myself, but there are some videos on YouTube that might give you an idea.

Being young and solving easy puzzles every day certainly helps a lot.

As someone who consistently gets in the 70-80s range in puzzle racer (current high score is 90), I find that most of it comes down to practice. The types of tactics in puzzle racer and puzzle storm are overall very thematic and repetitive (forks, pins, back rank mates, skewers, discovered attacks). If you play puzzle racer consistently, you'll come to see these tactics much faster, to the point where sometimes you just know the answer before even seeing the entire board.
Of course, you also need to learn to do fast inputs, and everyone has different opinions here. For me, a stylus on a touch screen computer does the trick, I am able to move very fast with it.
