67 years old looking for an easy and dynamic opening for black.

After you've played 20 games, you can use this website https://ethanlebowitz.github.io/RatingConverter/index.html to type in your Lichess username and it will use your convert your Lichess rating into an approximate FIDE score.

As for openings as black, if opp. starts on the a-d files then I typically open with the Dutch defense and if they open on the e-h files then I begin with a Sicilian. If you go on my profile and look at my games as black you can see what I mean about opening on the opposite side of the board to my opponent. I don't know if you'd call either dynamic but I like them!

Hi, I am 71 years old and have found that playing the Czech Pirc is very easy to learn. There are videos online and I especially like the ones by Robert Ramirez. You can play it with white or black. Extremely simple leading to plenty of play. In this version you will NOT be fianchettoing your King's bishop. It is hard to beat this one for easy yet solid.
