** ABOUT THE HARRY PAWN **
Playing h5 is an option against the fianchetto, because there it has a purpose. Playing it without a specific purpose weakens the square next to h5, which is g5. On this square white can put a piece later like a knight or a bishop. The only way to get rid of it by black would be by playing f6 - and you know never play f6 and stuff...
** ABOUT THIS GAME **
In the game you are showing us white missed an indredibly beautiful idea on move 10 which is Nxd5 exd5 Qxd5 which not only wins two central pawns for a piece, but also forces a queen exchange and endgame and traps the rook at the end of the exchange. White missing this Smith-Morra-Gambit-like idea began becoming passive and soon got into a drawish position - giving up iniative completely and then going for unimportant pawns and not even castling lead to a slightly worse position. In short: The game is not representative as white made a lot of unnecessary bishop moves instead of seeing the main idea here. Castling at the very end in the endgame was completely bad as the king needs to be in the CENTER in the endgame. The players simply both played bad at some point of the game.
** AN UNFORTUNATE SICILIAN **
Coming back to the question of why not playing the Goldsmith defense - or as I would call it the Harry Attack - with an open b-file it is absolutely possible as it demolishes both options of kingside and queenside castling and white faces problems. However the mistake by white was made very early - move 5 Nxc6 allows this open b-file for no reason and also loses tempi. Better would have been to follow simple sicilian theory and develop the other knight - Nc3. This would result in a sicilian game with h5 on the board and maybe now that you thought this through - in sicilian games black wants to castle kingside and not stay in the center - so why in the world would black push the h-pawn? At the end black only weakened himself.

h5 is much to passive and off to the side for a lot of people. its better to control the center

Great victory "opening" and go9d play especially durring this new game here wonderful play and this is a goldsmith opening why not today the goldsmith gambit instead?? Maybe they'd know something about your good play I hope the best for you
