I don't see how Nxg2 can possibly be a mouse slip for Qg5. And then you blundered another queen on the very next move, proving that this is normal for you.
Chess karma hahahaha I swear to god I was waiting for someone to bring "Karma" into this like some magical law of the universe had an impact on this game. Laughable - I'll tell you what happened here - One player made a bad move, mouseslip or otherwise and proposed a takeback(something you give to a small child learning how the pieces move for the first time) and was refused. The opponent then went on to make a series of bad moves due to bad calculation probably and lost the game because of it. No chess karma gods or magical fairness fairies involved..
lol @Sarg0n with appropriate suggestions as always :)
I've turned off 'takebacks' due to players abusing them.
So it means I can't offer/accept one even when I know it was a mistake on their part.

I remember a game where a player asked me a takeback after a clear blunder, not a mouse slip. I accept but then I take the case too lightly, I clearly underestimate him and I don't feel really involved in the game anymore, so in the end he wins me. It didn't bother me too much except that he started to denigrate me in the chat saying that I was a bad player, that I didn't deserve my ELO rating, etc. Since then I have systematically refused any takeback request, and I encourage others to do the same. Sometimes the beneficiary of your courtesy does not deserve it.

Maybe you are pluperfect in all things, but i guarantee you that there are,in fact, people who occasionally forget details.

I consider such a behaviour grossly negligent or even schizophrenic: you bring yourself voluntarily & deliberately into severe zeitnot (by playing blitz or bullet) and when the consequential accidents happen you want a fully comprehensive insurance paid by your opponent?
C'mon!

Depends on the time. No one should accept takebacks in Bullet, cutting corners by moving pieces too fast is part of the meta game and falls under risk managment . For rapid and classical a mouse slip is something that should be corrected as time is not too short to move properly. @userfriendly2 you should not berate anyone for moving pieces improperly with your rating.
@Morozov Firstly - No one should accept takebacks period. Based on your own logic Mouseslips are part of the online meta game because you try to move fast etc etc fair point but then opposite holds through for any longer time control in that you should have enough time to avoid mouseslips and if time is the issue here you CERTAINLY do not have enough time to be asking for a takeback. If you do have the time to ask you would be wiser to spend it ensuring you don't make these mistakes often. I have never not once made a mouseslip - never even heard of it until I came to Lichess - I don't have some god given talent with a mouse I just click the piece and then click the square - it's pretty basic to be fair.
As for your sly dig at my own rating how is that relevant to me berating people for the inability to use a mouse which results in their improper piece placement - NEVER did I bring someone's chess skill into the conversation in a derogatory manner - you seem to imply that because my rating is a lot lower than your own I am not allowed an opinion on takebacks and incorrect use of a mouse???
You need to take a long hard look at yourself mister and come down of your high horse.

@userfriendly2 Your argument was that "takebacks are there to teach little children" from my viewpoint there is not much difference between you and a little child in terms oft chess ability. This is why I brought it up.
You also don't seem to understand what the purpose of a takeback is. It is a tool to enable good players to play a decent, competetive game out. If me and a fellow player have a great game going, and he or I accidentaly misplace a piece we can correct that mistake and keep the game going. It is the online version of j'adoube. Why do you presume to forbid others to play decent chess? In bullet, a misplaced piece is normal and part of the game. In Rapid its not and can be corrected.
