Sometimes such tricks like 53. ... g6-g5 win even the opposite-coloured bishop endgames, here the draw stands of course.

To all those chessically-mentally retarded, there are many motifs who can be studied even in blitz (rapid) games. So playing and analyzing blitz is way better than its reputation. Don't believe in those old myths!

As an Hedgehog expert I just want to point out the precise 11. ... Qb8 which once enabled me to draw against (white) Hedgehog expert GM Lutz Espig from the former GDR in a tournament game (60 moves, 2009).

By the way, this was my game against the old master.

Blundering the piece with 40. ... Nc5 was not bad finally, ey? The end looks like a helpmate.

I and many others thoroughly appreciate your game posts. It's always enlightening to see higher rated players games. Very interesting games.

Thank you. I'll try hard to focus on some interesting moments. Alas, I cannot say more because most time I just play by ear.

In the last game blundering a whole piece was not bad miraculously and I found back to the path of virtue right soon.

PS: The second but last game was probably of interest as well. There's this zwischenzug & pinning which lead to a won a king-and-pawn endgame. As everyone can see one doesn't have to take back the pinned piece instantly.

After showing such bad technique (see below) I will finish my training for this morning. Hope it serves as entertainment and do it better youself - at least it worked out well eventually (by luck). Time was an issue, too.
