Holding a bad position against FM opponent

My position was quite bad after he uncorked the strong move 20.Qd2! which I had overlooked, but then I managed to slightly trick him and save the draw. Feel free to post comments, thoughts, analysis, suggestions etc. below. Cheers! EDIT: Forgot to post the game. Funny mistake! Here it is: lichess.org/XeNakcrS/black#0
Why did you take a draw? With 3 pawns for the knight you can play for a win without much danger of losing.
I find the white opening primitive. It has been played before, but it feels wrong.
It is strange that after the 10 h4 he hesitates with 11 Nf3 and 12 e3 instead of h5.
@tpr It's that classic psychological trap in chess; when you're worse for the majority of the game it's pretty hard to suddenly readjust your mindset and start playing for a win. Besides, I believe that the position also is drawn objectively. Also I agree with your comment on the opening. FM Komis and myself have discussed this line in 4 games, and in our practice it has scored 3,5-0,5 in black's favour (counting this game). He seems to be quite a fond practitioner of the white side of it though, but probably the opening is just on the borderline of playability, objectively speaking.
4. f3!? with the idea of e4 is quite interesting, though.
