Experiencing the complexity of the Najdorf!

This is a highly inaccurate game not to mention, played between my opponent and me. i did experience the Najdorf once before. But today, the experience was deeper!

Why 9...Nfd7? The knight is well developed and other pieces still stand on their starting squares. Is the knight better on d7 than on f6? 9...b6 or 9...Be6 or 9...h6 or 9...Nc6 or 9...Nbd7 or 9...b5 all make more sense.
12...f6 allows him a terrific attack with 13 Rf3. Best was to undo the mistake on move 9 and play 12...Nf6.
Many thanks @tpr See, his is what inexperience and inaccuracy is all about! i will surely study this.
It seems like you are without any plan after 8. 0-0 0-0.
I really don't understand your Nfd7, Re8, b5 and f6 moves.
What was your thinking process?
What convinced you that moving your knight and rook was more important than your development?
I am just curious.
@gablusky I can understand how you might be afraid of an f4-f5 push leaving your bishop stranded on e6 if you play it, but it's worth noting this common theme in the Najdorf:

9...Be6 10.f4 Qc7 11.f5 Bc4

With this motif in mind you can have no fear playing ...Be6 and ...Nbd7, clumping your pieces in the middle of the board for maximum stability and counterattack potential.

Fun game!
