Can you win with one queen against 4 pawns? [difficult]

In this challenge you need to win as white against Stockfish level 8. This is a tablebase win for white, but you need to know how it works. For that, here's an example game from me against stockfish. Somewhere, I won't tell you where, I've made a blunder making it a draw and later on a blunder making it a loss.

Use this link, select stockfish 8, play as white and give yourself enough time :)

Keep an eye out for the key squares E1 and H2. Good luck!

I would first use the pawn on seventh rank versus queen tactic and then i would pick the pawns one by one lol

Very interesting, but far from being easy. Even Stockfish say at first it's a draw !
But that's actually a very special position, as most endgames with 4 pawns including one about promoting and at least another on the 6th rank are draw. It works in part because of the triple pawns.

Let me know if you find other interesting endgames like this !

PS: actually, in your game, when you resigned, it was still a draw: you had Qa5.
@delta48 #3, but that doesn't work with the pawn also on h3. You have to find a way to have the Black King in front of his e-pawn WHILE also guarding h2 in order to have a tempo to move your King. Otherwise he advances his h-pawn.

It took me a while to find a circuit with the Queen that forces this... and then, you have to be careful with your King's approach that you neither block the Queen's circuits nor the checks.

It should go without saying that I had to do a ton of takebacks, too.
It was too hard for me, I only managed to draw the game.
@daniel921126 Yeah, but that first one is partly obvious, not allowing the h-pawn to advance. Less obvious is that your king currently blocks the path the queen must take to force the Black K to e1 while simultaneously guarding h2, allowing a tempo for your own king to approach. So the check on f3 does not work, since you need to get your K off of c7.

Then there is the matter of the path your king must take, which is also restrictive, because you must not block your own checks that force the Black K to be on e1 at the right time to give you a free tempo.
